What can we outsource to AI? The answer these days might be: pretty much everything. The question is, should we?
In this talk, we’ll survey the AI tooling landscape, but first, we’ll discuss the lenses through which we should see problems in the AI age. Turns out critical thinking and a strong grip on abstracting complexity have a lot to do with using AI tooling effectively.
Next, we’ll zoom in on some of the complexities in the data streaming space, and try out a few AI tools that can make managing data pipelines easier. We’ll also learn to use AI agents to make AI tools– let’s drink our own champagne!
Come for the lessons, stay for the zine: I’ll be handing out a custom booklet on AI in the data space at the end of the talk.
